MADE FOR YOUR WORK

From Markdown to an editable Word document.

Hand off a specification, report, or proposal as a DOCX. Use Word headings, lists, and tables so reviewers can continue editing. Add a table of contents and page numbers when needed.

Before you export

Check the downloaded document in Word: fonts and pagination can differ from the browser preview. Remote images must be accessible to the converter. Use PDF when you want to share a fixed page layout.

Tips & use cases

Tips before you share DOCX

  • Run Word’s “Styles” pane to align heading levels with your template
  • Re-check tables with merged or complex layouts—they may need manual fixes
  • For long documents, break into sections after import if Word feels slow
  • Use PDF export from Word when you need a frozen snapshot for external readers
  • Keep the original .md under version control as the source of truth

FAQ

What about images or math?
https images are embedded when the image host allows cross-origin access; other images and relative paths appear as “[Image: alt text]” placeholders. Mermaid diagrams are embedded as pictures. Math (LaTeX) is not supported yet.
Is it free?
Yes. No sign-up, and processing stays in your browser.
Will my Word version open the file?
Any recent Word build that supports .docx (Office 2007+) should open the export. If you hit issues, try “Open and Repair” from Word.
Can I automate batch conversion?
This page is for interactive use. For pipelines, consider Pandoc or similar CLI tools alongside your Markdown repository.
